The Local Heritage Association of Fårö has a small publishing house that publish high quality books about Fårö and its history. “Täckating på Fårö” is a book documenting the old tradition of using a special grass called ag as material for roofing. The book contains archive images, portraits of the locals and landscape photography showing the buildings that makes the landscape so unique and special.
